Director's Message

Dear Students, It is with great pride that we welcome you to VVPMUN 2025, a platform that continues to foster learning, leadership, and global awareness. Over the years, VVPMUN has empowered young minds to think critically, engage diplomatically, and act with purpose. This year, as we tackle global challenges, we also honour the strength of our nation through the “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” initiative—saluting the dedication of our soldiers and farmers. Let their resilience inspire you to approach your roles with empathy, responsibility, and discipline. Step into the shoes of global leaders, understand diverse perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to solutions for peace and cooperation. True leadership lies in humility, service, and the will to make a difference. Congratulations to the Secretariat, Executive Body, Organising Committee, and all delegates. Wishing you a truly enriching and transformative VVPMUN experience!

Director's Message

It gives me immense pride to present VVPMUN for the Academic Year 2026–27 at Vishwa Vidyapeeth. In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, understanding geopolitics is no longer optional—it is essential. Nations are interconnected through trade, technology, climate concerns, security alliances, and humanitarian challenges. Decisions taken in one part of the world ripple across continents. For our students, who will inherit this global order, awareness of international relations, diplomacy, and global responsibilities is crucial.

However, knowledge of geopolitics without human values can be incomplete and even dangerous. As we prepare our students to debate global conflicts, climate policies, economic disparities, and peace negotiations, we must also nurture empathy, integrity, and a strong moral compass. Indian culture has always emphasized Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family. This timeless principle is the foundation upon which true global leadership must stand. So we have named VVPMUN as Vishwamitra which means having friendship with the entire world.

The Bhagavad Gita offers profound guidance in this regard. In Chapter 2, Lord Krishna advises Arjuna: “Karmanye vadhikaraste, ma phaleshu kadachana”—we have the right to perform our duty, but not to be attached to the results. In the context of geopolitics, this teaches our students to act responsibly, uphold justice, and stand for righteousness without selfish motives. True leadership lies in selfless service and ethical decision-making.

Through VVPMUN, we aim to cultivate globally aware yet culturally rooted individuals—students who can analyse world affairs with clarity, negotiate with confidence, and lead with compassion. By blending contemporary geopolitical understanding with the eternal wisdom of Indian tradition, we prepare our children not only to face global challenges but to transform them into opportunities for peace and progress.
